Tea Party

This idea is to do a photo shot of a tea party, with any aged people (generally younger kids or a family.)

This image has inspired me because of the colleague of images and how they have all been put together. This would be a good idea of how the present my final piece and it could work in a sequence, with one another. The impact of different shots work well and complements each other because they are all so different. There are so many different composition rules in each photo; no one just stays to one, which makes it interesting to look at.

This image has used the rule of thirds, however to a subtle way. The colours used are very vibrant, which leads to the contrasting of them and making them stand out against the other colours. The disadvantage of the image is the way it is composed (the camera angle), it's very bland and bog standard, nothing interesting and doesn't add anything to this image, apart from detracting.

The mood of this image makes the onlooker feel happy, as they are too young girls, acting as if they are grown up. The fashion in this photo complements the flowers on the table. The colours are quite dull and plain however they compliment each other and stand out. In the background the lines compliment the vertical times of everything else in the picture.

This idea was to use scales and proportions. Use tea cups rides and kids in them. This would be difficult because I would have to find a place where they have tea cup rides, at the end of winter - nowhere.

This photo caught my eye because of the depth used in it. How there is the tea pot in focus and the cup of tea is out of focus. I dislike the idea of having the handle of the tea cup in the side of the picture as it detracts from the focus on the cup of tea. The white of the tea pot brings out the other colours and makes them stand out a lot more, drawing the focus to them.

The pink of the table cloth compliments the white of the tea pot making it brighter. Personally the composition doesn't work for me, it look like it hasn't been planned, and there isn't really an order to it. If i was to recreate this then I would change the layout of the table.
