Photoshoot the originals - Shaddows

This happened by accident however I think the idea works well. It wasn't what I was going for however I can incorporate my themes into this idea. The harsh sun light behind the model makes her go black and a silhouette so you can't see any detail.  The wonkiness makes the image look quirky. The sky is the aspect which adds colour to the image and makes it brighter and makes the composition work.
The pose of this image looks as if the model is falling off the wall, which doesn't work. However this pose shows more of the bottle behind her and the blueness of the bottle comes through more because the harsh sun light is going through the bottle and through the liquid. This is complimented by the blue of the sky.  The little bit of clouds in the sky give the image texture. This is emphasised by the bit of grass at the left hand side of the image.

This image looks better than the two above because the pose
works well in portrait. Personally I feel there is too much sky however I have tried to use the rule of thirds . My favourite aspect of this image is the different colours you get from the sky, from the bright white of the sun then to light blue going through to dark blue in the top left hand corner. The sun too low down in the sky. The positioning to the right is in the correct place it would work better for the image if it is slightly higher up in the sky. The harsh dark black silhouette works with the vivid colours of the sky and the straight line breaks up the image.
The wonky line works as a leading line and the sun being in the correct place - the smallest section of it with the model being in the biggest. The sun looks effective because it has the light rays coming off of it however the shape I would prefer if it was more circular. The blue of the bottle stands out more with the sun behind it however blends into the sky. The random piece of hair sticking out doesn't work because it's a small section.

This image is too dark, sun was too low down and the model was positioned in the wrong place so she is covering part of it up. The problem with the image being too dark is as an onlooker you can't see what she's doing so its turns into a portrait picture, as there is no rebellion going on. With the sky and image being so dark means that the sun becomes the main focus and stands out . The light rays coming off it works so well. To compose this image I tried to use the rule of thirds.

This image is my favourite out of all the ones taken. The composition works so well and looks so natural. I have composed it using the rule of thirds and it has worked perfectly. The sky is broken up with the models silhouette and the sun. The pose is effective because it symbolises my theme of rebellion. The sun and clouds give the image texture and different layers to it. It is a very simple photo however it holds a bold statement.
The composition of this image doesn't works as well. I don't like having the  lamppost and bag in picture, it makes it look too busy. Also the lamppost is too close to the sun. I didn't use the rule of thirds for this image I did half and half because in some of the images before there was too much sky however this makes it look like there is too much wall. The pose works but the model needs to bring the bottle up more so you can see clearly what it is.
The pose of the model makes it look too posed. She is meant to be smoking however you can't tell that from the silhouette. The only way I could make that work is if I photo shopped some smoke into the image. The wonky line doesn't work because it needs to be over dramatic and not so subtle. It doesn't look like I did that on purpose - it looks like an accident and very unprofessional. The colours are the main focus.
